The Oso Walk-Behind Mower
The next generation commercial electric mower.
Whether you run one mower or twenty, Oso’s 21-inch electric walk-behind delivers the same cutting power you’re used to, with lower fuel costs, less maintenance, and no pull-start fights at the beginning of a long day.
The Benefits
Real savings, every season.
Replace a gas mower and save an average of $1,500 per machine annually. Lower fuel costs, fewer maintenance bills, and no oil changes eating into your margin.
Ready when you are.
Push-button start, no warm-up, no pull-cord. Load it off the trailer and get to work. At the end of the day, plug it in and it’s ready for tomorrow.
Built to last.
Rugged aluminum deck, brushless motor, commercial-grade components. This is equipment designed for daily professional use, season after season.

The Features

Simple start, every time
Turn the main power switch, pull the lever slightly, press the Blade Start Button, and pull the lever further to drive. No pull cord, no choke, no warm-up. Every crew member operates it the same way on day one.

Single-lever control
Oso’s patent-pending control lever manages both blade engagement and drive speed with one lever. Pull it slightly and the blade is ready to start — press the Blade Start Button and you’re cutting. Pull further and the self-propel engages, with speed increasing the more you pull. Release it completely and everything stops. One lever, intuitive from day one.

Easy battery swaps, all day power
The 35Ah LiFePO4 battery runs over two hours per charge. Bring a second battery on longer routes and you never stop for fuel. No gas station detours, no spill risk on client property.

Emergency shutdown
One press of the E-Stop button cuts everything simultaneously — drive, blade, all functions. Twist it clockwise to disengage and resume. It’s there for situations that need an immediate full stop.

Variable speed drive
The further you pull the lever, the faster the mower goes. If you prefer a set pace, the optional Speed Selector toggle caps your maximum speed so you don’t have to hold a precise grip all day. Less fatigue, more consistent pace across a full route.

Automatic blade stop
Release the lever completely and both the blade and the drive stop. The mower won’t keep cutting if you let go — a deliberate safety design that means the mower only runs when you’re actively holding it.

Built for the trailer
Rear-mounted tie-down anchors let you strap the mower down securely for transport. Load it, strap it, go.

Gas-equivalent cutting power
The brushless DC motor drives the blade at up to 3,400 RPM with torque that handles thick commercial grass, wet conditions, and demanding terrain without bogging down.

Software updates
Leave the mower connected to a battery overnight once a week and it updates itself automatically — performance improvements, safety patches, and new features deploy without any action required. The mower you buy keeps getting better after purchase.

Fleet tracking Optional add-on
Add GPS and 4G connectivity to track location, usage, and performance across every mower in your fleet.
The Savings
What gas is actually costing you.
Gas mowers average $1,500 per year in fuel and maintenance costs per machine. Oso’s electric mower runs on about $95 in electricity annually. Add in no oil changes, no belt replacements, and no carburetor cleanups, and the difference compounds fast. Here’s what that looks like across three usage levels.

The App
Smart features, built in.
Every robotic mower connects to the Oso cloud platform out of the box. From one dashboard you can see where every unit is, how long it has been running, what its battery level is, and whether it needs attention — across every property in your portfolio simultaneously. Maintenance alerts surface before problems become downtime. Route data logs automatically so you can see exactly what was cut, when, and for how long. For operations running multiple units, it means knowing your crew is productive across every property without having to check in on each one.
