Update 1.2 focuses on reliability: your mower recovers from interruptions on its own, gets stuck far less often, and is smoother to drive in manual mode.
The short version
- The mower picks up where it left off. After an interruption, it resumes the job instead of needing a restart from scratch.
- Far fewer stuck events. Improved handling around obstacles means less walking out to rescue the mower.
- Smoother manual driving. Manual mode no longer interrupts you with brake checks.
- Safer software updates. If an update doesn’t take properly, the mower automatically returns to its previous working version.
Out on the property
Resume: pick up where you left off
If a mowing session is interrupted, the mower can now resume the job from where it stopped rather than starting the whole area over. Less repeated ground, less wasted battery, and jobs that actually finish.
Fewer stuck-in-collision events
The mower is now much better at working itself around obstacles instead of stopping against them and waiting for help. Expect fewer trips out to reposition it mid-job.
Better self-monitoring
The mower now keeps continuous watch over its own vital signs — including blade speed and internal communications — and can catch and recover from issues on its own before they interrupt a job.
Manual mode
Smoother manual driving
Driving the mower manually no longer triggers brake checks, so repositioning the machine or working an area by hand feels smoother and more responsive.
Good to know
- Updates now protect themselves. If a software update doesn’t complete correctly, the mower automatically rolls back to the previous version and keeps working — no downtime waiting on a fix.
- Updates are installed by your Oso representative, either on site or remotely. Contact us if you’re unsure which version your mower is running.
