Actualización de software 1.3.0 para la cortadora de césped robótica Oso de 21 pulgadas

Software Update 1.3 · Released August 12, 2026 · Applies to all 21-inch robotic mowers · Installed by your Oso representative

Update 1.3.0 is all about how your mower covers ground: a new mowing planner cuts your lawn in consistent stripes, finishes faster, and leaves cleaner edges — plus clearer status lights so you always know what the mower is doing.

The short version

  • A smarter mowing pattern. Consistent left-to-right stripes that finish at the far side — and the mower knows when it’s done.
  • Faster sessions. Higher travel speed and much less overlap between passes mean the same lawn gets done sooner.
  • Cleaner edges and turns. Two perimeter laps around the edge and tidier turnarounds, so there’s less to touch up.
  • Lights that tell you more. The light tower now signals when the mower is stuck or has finished.

A smarter mowing pattern

Consistent stripes, start to finish

The new planner mows in orderly left-to-right passes and works its way across the property, finishing at the far side and declaring the job done. The result is predictable coverage you can see — no more wondering whether a section got skipped.

Faster, with less wasted motion

Travel speed is up to 1.2 m/s, and the overlap between adjacent passes has been cut from half a deck width to about a fifth. Together, that means noticeably shorter mowing sessions on the same lawn.

Cleaner edges

The mower now runs two full perimeter laps around the edge of the mowing area, so borders come out crisp without a follow-up trim pass.

Tidier turns

Turnarounds at the end of each pass are tighter and more consistent, leaving less uncut grass at the turns.

Awareness and alerts

Status lights that tell you more

The light tower now has dedicated signals for two situations you’ll want to know about from across the property: the mower is stuck and needs a hand, or the mower has completed its job.

Quicker to see and react

The vision system processes what the cameras see faster than before, so the mower reacts to obstacles sooner.

Fewer unnecessary stops for people detection

The mower still stops for people — that hasn’t changed. It’s now better at telling the difference between a person and an object that merely looks like one, so it pauses less often for no reason.

The mower knows when it can’t see

If a camera is covered — by debris, grass clippings, or anything else — the mower now detects it and lets you know, rather than continuing with reduced vision.

Good to know

  • Fixed: incorrect status light color. Resolved an issue where the light tower could show a magenta color that didn’t correspond to a real status.
  • Fixed: false temperature warnings. Improved temperature monitoring prevents occasional misreadings from pausing the mower unnecessarily.
  • Updates are installed by your Oso representative, either on site or remotely. Contact us if you’re unsure which version your mower is running.
