Update 1.3.1 makes your mower easier to monitor, more reliable in the field, and better at handling larger properties.
Released August 2026 · Applies to all Oso 21-inch Robotic Lawn Mowers · Installed by your Oso representative
La versión corta
- Battery percentage is now accurate. What the app shows is what the pack actually has left.
- The app keeps up in real time. Live location, progress, and start/stop notifications as they happen.
- Large properties mow properly. Big perimeters complete their loops as originally mapped.
- Fewer interruptions. Steadier on slopes, fewer unexpected stops, fewer service calls.
In the app
Battery level you can rely on
The app now reads the true charge of the battery pack that’s actually connected, and shows you which pack it is. Plan your mowing sessions from the number on screen.
Live view, as it happens
Follow your mower’s position and progress in real time, with start and stop notifications as they occur. When a session finishes, you can play back the run to see exactly what the mower did.
Each session shows its own perimeter
When you open a mowing session, you now see the perimeter that run actually used, rather than a previously recorded one.
En la propiedad
Large properties complete their loops
Perimeters of up to 500 meters now mow the way they were recorded. If you’ve been splitting a big area into smaller perimeters as a workaround, you likely no longer need to.
Steadier on slopes
Improved stability means the mower is far less likely to tip up when working a grade, so it keeps mowing instead of stopping for a manual reset.
A stuck wheel no longer means a service call
If a wheel catches in a valve box or a hole, the mower now stops itself before damage can occur. In most cases, repositioning the mower and restarting gets you going again — no tools, no parts, no waiting for a technician.
Fewer unexpected stops
Software improvements reduce unnecessary interruptions during a run, so your mower spends more time mowing.
Improved awareness of overhead objects
The mower’s forward vision now recognizes certain obstacles above ground level, such as a low pipe in its path, and stops rather than attempting to drive underneath.
Faster support, without a site visit
Your mower can now securely send diagnostic information to our support team over its cellular connection. If you report a problem, we can often look into it the same day instead of scheduling a visit.
Es bueno saberlo
- Overhead detection works ahead of the mower and detects larger objects more reliably than thin ones. Keep treating low branches and overhanging obstacles as something to trim or fence off.
- Walk the property before you run. Avoid standing water, saturated ground, and soft banks — as you would with any mower.
- Keep spare battery packs clear of the mower. When you swap a pack, move the old one away from the machine before starting the next run.
